Overcome complexity
- Introduction of the current SE cases and the latest methods in Japan -
At JS 2022, we would like to share with you information that will help you navigate the various complexities of practicing Systems Engineering (SE). In the keynotes, world-renowned SysML authority Sanford Friedenthal will talk about the next generation of SysML (v2), and Matthew Hause, a chair of the UAF Group, will discuss how to utilize UAF in a complex system of systems. In addition, 7 sessions (in Japanese) will be given by systems engineers who are practicing systems engineering in the fields of automobiles, aerospace, etc. After these sessions, we will set up a JCOSE Café for exchanging opinions and networking with the participants.

Beyond traditional Systems Engineering domains and regions
JS 2020 invites academics and practitioners to actively exchange ideas in talks and workshops on topics of “evolving technologies and developing engineering processes”. The main activities will be split across two days. They will include talks on state-of-the-art systems and systems engineering approaches by keynote speakers, and workshops to discuss how to do better systems engineering in the workplace, particularly in cultures where it has not existed before.
